Whilst working for Balfour Beatty I was picked to be a part of the roll out of window 7 machines throughout the whole company. This involved traveling to different BB offices around Britain and Ireland acting as Team Lead, overseeing up to 5 engineers and being primary contact for all deployment activities on site. My main responsibility’s other than migrating users involved scheduling, dealing with all escalations, creating a daily spreadsheet of all migration completions and liaising with the project manager at all times.

I was employed as a 1st Line support analyst this involves supporting over 15,000 users across multiple sites mainly in the UK but some a far afield as Asia and South America . Support is offered via help over the telephone, remote assistance and the creating of technical documents for the user. Support is given in hardware, software , networks , wireless, telephony (mobile and IP), bespoke apps and any other IT queries as well as handling requests such as account creation and other Active Directory work i.e. permissions , access , shared folders etc and MS exchange work.
