Headed up the ATOC London team, overseeing commercial relationships with third parties, principally Transport for London (“TfL”), and maintaining liaison with other external stakeholders, including supporting the London Mayor’s 2012 and 2013 “rail summits”. Oversaw the mandatory ATOC London Scheme and managed statutory meetings.

Following reorganisation, took control of the small Revenue & Fares team, and became the principal point of commercial liaison between the Train Companies and TfL (including appointment as the formal “ATOC Representative” in the Travelcard Agreement)

Supported the Director London in taking forward key projects and developing the team’s ability to support the TOCs with expertise in London s settlement issues.

Joined a small project team set up to validate RSP’s then third-party settlement systems. In conjunction with Train Company FDs and RSP operational team, developed an action plan to resolve identified issues. Joined ATOC London Team, initially to implement this action plan.

Following reorganisation for privatisation, played a key role in preparing the unit for sale, including overhauling management reporting processes and active engagement with the shadow Board and potential bidders.

Developed the Division’s distinctive marketing “voice” and raised awareness through large-scale advertising campaigns.
