VAV Group Banská Bystrica, managed by its GeneralManager - Ing. Peter Valach – has been well known thanks to its activitiesin Banská Bystrica and in Central Slovakia since 1998. Its activities arealso spreading to other regions of Slovakia. So far, the most importantimplemented project is EUROPA SHOPPING CENTER, close to the squarein Banská Bystrica. It is a unique building, recognized not only in Slovakiabut also abroad. It is connected to office and congress building of EUROPABUSINESS CENTER, which is located in the Trosky area and represents anew dominant of the town. It was completed in the summer of 2008. In 2009,the whole solution was awarded by the Slovak BUILDING OF THE YEAR2009 Award. Currently, there is a busy ongoing construction of EUROPASHOPPING & RELAX CENTER in Zvolen. It is another project from thegroup of EUROPA shopping and relax centers; EUROPA SHOPPING CENTERin Levice is being prepared. Among intentions of the VAV Group are the 2ndstage of construction in the Trosky area in Banská Bystrica and buildup ofEUROPA SHOPPING CENTER II. VAV Invest started its activities in the fieldof investment construction by building ESSO fuel station and constructionof infrastructure networks for NAY Elektrodom and McDonalds on the areaof more than 20,000 m2. Since 2002, VAV Invest has built more than 100,000 m2of infrastructure networks for family houses in the SUCHÝ VRCH area aboveBanská Bystrica. Later it started with construction of low-story residentialhouses PETRA in that area, with 4 residential houses and 32 housing units.
