Keukenhof’s Dutymanager is basically in charge of the park when on duty and therefore responsible for the ‘product’ Keukenhof. Some of this role’s duties were solving problems in the operations, handling and solving complains, leading employees and managers in park operations. Besides that, the Dutymanager also occurred as incident leader and crowd- and trafficmanager

In this role I was responsible for the devision ‘amusementpark’. This devision consist of the parks rides, parking, entrance, swimming pool and first aid room. In my role I lead Supervisors and Shiftleaders to make the daily operations of the park as smooth as possible. I was responsible for the hiring and coaching of the devisions employees; between 60 - 90 on a daily base. I reported to the Hospitality Manager

As teamleader of the attractions department I fulfilled a supervisor role for 40 - 50 employees on a daily bases. I managed the daily operation of the department with a team of three other teamleaders. Part of the job description was managing the operational side of breakdowns, handling complaints of guests and training of employees.For a few months I was responsible for the scheduling of employees at the Operations department of the park.

As part of the International College Program I joined the Walt Disney Company for a life changing experience. I worked for seven months in the number one holiday destination of the world, studied at Central Michigan University and made friends from all over the world.
