I am a barrister of 20+ years' experience, practising in the areas of - - planning, land use, infrastructure and development;- environment (approvals, licensing, environmental effects);- commercial disputes (contract, property, building claims, corporations and equity);- administrative law;- defamation; and- criminal (specialising in white collar crime and regulatory offences).I was called to the Bar in March 2013 after 13 years' practice as a solicitor. I practice in Queensland and Victoria and am a member of both the Queensland and Victorian Bars.I regularly appear on behalf of private and public sector clients in all levels of courts, tribunals, planning panels, commissions and mediations and have done extensive advisory work for individuals, businesses, property developers, Councils, government and infrastructure authorities.I have appeared in a variety of matters, including complex, high-profile, major infrastructure matters such as the West Gate Tunnel EES hearings and successfully run prosecutions and trials in the above mentioned areas.I have recently-gained experience representing clients in white-collar crime matters, drawing on my commercial and forensic expertise, as such allegations require in addition to the common apprehensions of criminal law.In addition to my legal work, I have over 10 years of business management experience in private industry and property development and am currently a director of BioNaturals, a health supplement company with national distribution through a major retail chain.I can draw upon my diverse experience to understand and appreciate the legal and commercial issues of your case.
