Since my graduation I started in the civil engineering & construction industry in 1990 and have I been involved in domestic and international complex and multidisciplinary projects. The main focus throughout all those years has been the execution and realization of the projects and was I able to build up my extensive experience in the immersion of tunnels and installation of caissons. I was involved in projects such as the second Schiphol Rail Tunnel in Amsterdam (NL) including the immersion of two tunnel elements, the Wijker Tunnel in IJmuiden (NL), the Tram Tunnel in the Hague (NL), the immersed tunnel in A73 Highway Roermond (NL), the underground station and immersion of the tunnel segments under the Central Station and River IJ in Amsterdam (NL) as a part of the North / South Metroline. The immersed tunnel in Limmerick in Ireland (IRL), the Busan-Geoje Fixed Link project Korea (KOR), the Venice Flood barrier as part of the MOSE project (IT), the Blyth Demonstrator project in Blyth (UK) and the 1915 Canakkale Bridges caissons in Canakkale (TUR)With a strong focus on leadership, communication, innovation, risk and financial management and employee sustainability, I manage multiple projects globally.
