I established Footprint Architects in 2009 and am developing a bespoke design led architectural practice with a portfolio of projects within residential, leisure, commercial and educational sectors.I have a passion for creating inspirational design and in finding environmentally conscious, creative solutions that work within project constraints and budget.I provide a professional, client focused service that raises aspirations whilst managing expectations through an in depth knowledge and experience of project costs and timescales.I have been working in architectural practice for 15 years and have experience of designing one off houses, hotels, schools, leisure facilities, in retail, a theatre and office buildings. Since forming Footprint Architects, I have been involved in several feasibility studies, provided full design services and completed the design and documentation of multimillion pound construction projects. This includes a new art block for Bournemouth and Poole College of Further Education, the refurbishment alterations and extension of several school projects for Bournemouth Borough Council, a school expansion project over 7 years and 3 phases in Wiltshire, the fit-out and alterations to several clubs for Fitness First, a gym extension for BH Live in Bournemouth, various private residences as well as new homes for war veterans at the Bournemouth War Memorial Homes.I am a RIBA design adviser and technical adviser with an expertise in the education sector, and in this role have completed over ten multimillion pound school and academy projects. I provide advice that supports these construction projects to enable them to develop efficiently, achieve best value and high quality.
