I have been working as a teacher in East London for the past twenty years where I have successfully delivered A-Levels in Politics and History. There is a large amount of administration in education. The constantly changing and updating systems have meant that I have had to take a hugely adaptive and flexible approach to both my administration and teaching, developing a vast away of delivery skills to support this ethnically and affluently diverse population. I have also developed dynamic communication skills, delivering creative material tailored to these specific needs and other protected characteristics (such as autism). I am looking for a change of direction in my career and new challenges. A career path that can use these administrative, communication and delivery skills.As a teacher, I have two decades experience of planning and delivering lessons/lectures. I am reliable and organised. I also have excellent presentation and public speaking skills. My pastoral (tutorial) responsibilities have also built up my safeguarding experience. Education includes large amounts of administration. As a result, I have had to learn how to use new software and systems quickly. I am familiar with both Microsoft and Google software.(1) I can make quick decisions and be resourceful in stressful situations.(2) I am good at breaking down complex ideas and information into bitesize, deliverable pieces. Used online teaching methods during lockdown.(3) Changing course specifications has led me to develop my research and analytical skills.(4) I have classroom management skills that can be transferred to any situation or environment.(5) I have ICT skills, such as: Word, Google Drive, Microsoft, Teams and PowerPoint.
