For over twenty years, working for AlertSystems, I was building and programming alarm panels and CCTV equipment ready for engineers to install onsite. I also helped deal with customer issues and helping resolve issues with alarm monitoring companies.During this time I learnt many skills (small and large) which have helped me become the person I am today. I decided I needed to challenge my skillset and joined AB Dynamics.I started as a wiring technician, making parts for their GST (Guided Soft Target) product and have now since moved to wiring and assembling battery wings for their Launchpad products. This has developed to making a Battery Build and Test area. I am following a schedule and working to make sure deadlines are met. I also raise any product improvement suggestions for the battery wings. As with my time at AlertSystems, I am liaising with many departments within the company where necessary. During this time, I have taken and passed my IPC 620 course.In my spare time, I play badminton in a local league and also train with the GB Deaf Badminton team. I have been lucky enough to represent England at the 8th European Deaf Badminton Championships in Slovakia.
