As head of the Hospitality IT Solutions Peter is responsible a solution portfolio covering both above property solutions (inc. Central Reservation, Web & Video as well as Guest management Solutions) and the on-property solutions (inc. Property Management, Service Optimization and Sales & Catering). The Hospitality IT Solutions team is comprised of 150 + commercial FTEs and set priorities for an 800+ FTE RnD organization based in key locations around the globe including New York, Orlando, Portsmouth, Nice & Breda. Peter is responsible for ensuring the profitability & long-term growth of the business lines while also maintaining high levels of customer and employee satisfactions (NPS). This area represents the core of the Amadeus Hospitality strategy and has the most complex programs with large multi-year client engagement including with key industry leaders such as the Intercontinential, MGM, Accor, Marriott & Hilton hotels.

As EVP of Amadeus Hospitality Media & Distribution I am responsible for leading the 300+ million € turnover business units that develop and distributes hotels, cars, transfers and insurance solutions to travel agencies globally. I manage a direct team of 300 people located in Europe, Asia & the Americas. Here, I define the investment, innovation and go-to market strategies, in addition to leading the acquisition and implementation of key Travel Destination Solutions content (hotels, car, transfers...) into the Amadeus global marketplace. I also manage the global sales, product development, implementation and account servicing of the Amadeus Travel Destination Solutions portfolio.

I was the divisional head of IT sales, implementation and servicing for a 240+ million € turnover business line that provides IT Solutions to Amadeus' global & strategic business travel agency and corporate customers. I defined the investment, innovation & go to market strategies of the Amadeus portfolio of products and services targeting the managed business travel segment. I managed the sale, implementation and account servicing of the overall Amadeus GDS & IT portfolio to key customers (including Amex, CWT, BCD, Philip Morris Intl & Bosch).Finally, I led GDS migrations and new IT solution implementations globally.

I was the commercial head of a 60+ million € turnover business unit that develops & distributes IT solutions to travel agencies & airlines globally. I was responsible for creating and deploying the commercial strategy and marketing mix for the business unit, which was comprised 450+ people located in Europe, Asia & the Americas. I also led the merger and consolidation of commercial teams from multiple disparate companies into a single global marketing and sales organization. I achieved a sales 180%+ in excess of targets selling directly & via distribution partner channels during my first two years. I also contracted multiple multi-national travel agencies & airlines such as American Express, Opodo, Expedia, Air France, Hogg Robinson, TQ3, Wings Travel, LAN Chile.

During my time as Senior Manager of Amadeus e-Travel, I defined the strategy and led the market entry into the online corporate travel sector. I defined and launched the e-Travel corporate product and service portfolios and managed the Amadeus commercial partnerships with SAP AG and the Lotus Corporation.I was also responsible for the definition & implementation of the Amadeus product and commercial strategy for the e-commerce business travel sector. I created and led the e-Travel commercial teams in E.M.E.A, Asia & South America and achieved a sales 240%+ in excess of targets during my first two years of operation. In this time, I contracted multiple Fortune 500 & Blue Chip organizations including Airbus, Oracle, Bosch, Cemex, Wartsila, Volkswagen, BMC Software, ABRD.

During my time as Senior Consultat, I specialized in Project Management and in the implementation of pan-European logistics and financial systems for the manufacturing sector. This way, I led the pan-European redesign and centralization of the inventory planning and purchasing processes for a leading distributor for the automotive sector. During the two-year implementation of SAP R/3 in 5 countries, I managed a 60 person project team and achieved a $10 million reduction in inventory.I also managed the selection of sales and marketing software for a leading automotive group, launching a new European customer loyalty programLastly, I participated in the establishment of shared financial service centers for manufacturers in the high-tech electronics and cement industries, and implemented best practices and common European financial systems (Oracle Financials).

I specialized in project management and in the implementation of collections systems and strategies in the automotive and retail banking sectors. First as team-leader and later project manager, I led multiple collections systems implementations (2 UK retail banks, 2 European automotive groups & a government sponsored loans company).I also integrated and managed joint client and consulting project teams of up to 20 team members. Here, I was responsible for client interactions, project planning, budgeting (US $ 1million) and tracking.I developed internal collections strategies, systems and interfaces, designing frameworks for analyzing and optimizing credit recovery performance and effectiveness. Lastly, I directed all technical aspects of implementations, and organized and delivered functional and technical training classes.
