Millstream is the provider of business opportunities for public sector Buyers and Suppliers. We simplify the tendering process by sharing our knowledge & expertise. In the tight-knit Portals team we provide support for two national portals - Public Contracts Scotland and Sell2Wales - as well as our commercial portal - myTenders - for the English market.As Customer Service Advisors, we provide a swift, reactive service to our customers as their queries come in through the website, by email and by phone. I pride myself on being able to quickly identify needs, and offering efficient and knowledgeable assistance to keep our websites' users on track. We interact with members of the Scottish and Welsh Governments on a regular basis, liasing on applications and resolving any ad hoc issues.We review all National and European Notices which are issued through the portals prior to their publication. This serves to identify and resolve possible compliance issues with the relevant Public Contracts Regulations and thereby mitigating the possiblity of regulatory challenges for our public sector clients. From the commercial perspective, I am an Account Manager for a significant number of myTenders 'PRO' clients; I am a personal point of contact for a number of Buyers who use our portal. My aim is to build enduring, approachable relationships with my clients. I want them to receive maximum benefit from our service, and want to maintain our partnerships into the future.On top of these tasks, I am a member of the ISO Team (ISO 9001 and ISO 27001) charged with the information sercurity management and quality management of the company. As a unit we constantly update company-wide policies, processes and procedures. Within the Portals department, I regularly seek to identify potential developments in our websites and processes to ensure continued improvement in useability, increased efficiency, and to capitalise on new opportunities.
