SAMI International is the international organization behind SAMI Combat Systems and was founded by Irmengard Weckauf-Hanzal and Peter Weckauf in 2002. Originally as the "Self-defense And Martial Arts Institute" in Vienna / Austria, the efforts and teaching methods and content of the two drew ever wider and more international circles until it became increasingly necessary to expand the instructor training and to offer our program on a larger scale.Peter Weckauf and SAMI International have gained an excellent reputation in the development of new and realistic techniques and methods and has become an indispensable training authority, especially for law enforcement in general and specific professional groups in the field of public and private security.In addition to professional and vocational training, self-defense systems with and without weapons, martial arts and hand-to-hand combat training are also all part of SAMI Combat Systems.
