Peter Weimann is Professor for Information Systems. At present he is Director for International MBA Programmes for Renewable Energies and Honorary Professor for Information Systems at the University of Cape Town.He holds a Master in Computer Science and has obtained his PhD from University of Cape Town (UCT). His main professional emphasis lies in the field of business engineering, change management, project management, and the development and introduction of new systems. He has broad experiences as project manager, served as head of branch offices and acted as senior consultant for the private industry and Federal Ministries. He has written several books and published his research in a numerous journals. His research interests involve the use of technology in virtual project teams, information technology in Europe and Africa and the application of information technology in Health Care.
