I am an Educational Technology specialist and organisational leader with over 25 years' experience and success in moving a number of educational organisations to leading positions by gaining significant educational benefit from their investment in eLearning and technology.This requires not just deep knowledge and experience of both technology and education. It requires consistently staying at the forefront of EdTech innovations, as well as being able to translate these innovations into tangible results in the organisation. It requires significant management and team leadership skills, high level communication and people skills and the ability to successfully juggle multiple projects. It requires strategic, long-term planning and the ability to implement these changes through overcoming ‘organisational and educational inertia’ and creating team enthusiasm and ‘buy in’. It requires planning, designing and implementing training programs/capability uplift in all facets of EdTech change.My attention to all these components, and ability to develop the entire ‘education/EdTech ecosystem’ rather than individual silos of change have underpinned my success in organisation wide educational evolution.
