Peter White recently retired as the Executive Director, Government Relations and Strategic Partnerships at Western University. He is continuing to support Western on several project areas. Peter is also bringing expertise to several wireless industry projects.He was President and CEO of the London Economic Development Corporation from 2007 until August 2013. The LEDC has been recognized as one of Canada’s top economic development agencies in Canada. White is the Vice Chair of Airshow London, serves on committee with the London St. Thomas Association of Realtors, past Chair of RBC Place London, past Chair of the South West Ontario Economic Alliance and serves on several other boards and committeesHe was a member of the Board of Directors of Globalstar Canada Satellite Co., for 12 years, a company that provides satellite voice and data services to companies and remote communities across Canada. Peter held senior executive positions in the IT and telecommunications industry including Nexent, Globalstar, Global Data and Motorola.Peter is a graduate of Western University (UWO) and Huron College University. He lives in London and enjoys contributing to many volunteer opportunities in the city.
