I serve as an Academic Mentors for students participating in the Future 17 SDGs Challange programme. The Future17 SDG Challenge Short Course, launched at SU in March 2022 offers a unique opportunity to take part in a new global sustainability education programme across disciplines and cultures set by the SDG Challenge Partners. This prestigious short course is presented by the University of Exeter (UK), QS World University Rankings and a consortium of universities. Stellenbosch University forms part of this consortium, alongside the Chinese University of Hong Kong and São Paulo (Brazil).

I was in charge of academic management at the University College. I handled issues such as Academic Leadership Management, Institutional Accreditation, Programme Accreditation, Programme, and Institutional affiliations. I was also involved in the Executive Management Board, Appointment and Promotion Committee, Academic Board, and the Chairman of the Library Committee.

I provided leadership to the department, was involved in curriculum development, programme accreditation, and management of examination processes. I was a member of the Faculty Board and Institutional Management Board.

I played an oversight role in the management of the three Departments in the Faculty.

I was a Lecturer in the Centre for Biblical and Religious studies.
