Through close collaboration with Outlet Centre management teams and C-suite executives achieved an €80m/80% reduction in annual spend.• Developed a portfolio-wide quarterly reforecast process including cash flow requirements which was pivotal during COVID-19, supporting key business decisions including the assessment of potential rent concessions, identifying bank covenant risks & the requirement for short term funding requests from investors.• Managed the French finance team through the sale of two Outlet Centres for c€300m to new investors, supporting the due diligence process, partnering with the operations teams to develop long-term plans and advising on financing documentation and cash flow requirements. • Created a portfolio-wide debt analysis model through collaboration with senior leasing and legal teams which was regularly presented to the Executive Team and investors. This helped to better target and negotiate with tenants to reduce arrears during COVID-19, leading to a reduction in total debt for the most strategically significant brand from €6.3m to €1.6m (60 days+ debt was reduced from €3.2m to €86k).• Successfully restructured the French finance team, including developing and internally promoting a new country Finance Manager - this delivered a more customer focused approach, with improved support to the operations teams, brand partners, suppliers and investors. • Led a project to evaluate a faster month-end process across the Finance department, delivering reduced time taken by the local Finance teams to complete the close by up to 5 days.
