Led and developed the UK and France Finance teams covering 11 of the 25 Outlet Centres in addition to managing the activities of the FP&A department.• Led a portfolio-wide review of Outlet Centre capital expenditure in 2020 aiming to control costs and preserve cash in the business. Through close collaboration with Outlet Centre management teams and C-suite executives achieved an €80m/80% reduction in annual spend.• Developed a portfolio-wide quarterly reforecast process including cash flow requirements which was pivotal during COVID-19, supporting key business decisions including the assessment of potential rent concessions, identifying bank covenant risks & the requirement for short term funding requests from investors.• Managed the French finance team through the sale of two Outlet Centres for c€300m to new investors, supporting the due diligence process, partnering with the operations teams to develop long-term plans and advising on financing documentation and cash flow requirements. • Created a portfolio-wide debt analysis model through collaboration with senior leasing and legal teams which was regularly presented to the Executive Team and investors. This helped to better target and negotiate with tenants to reduce arrears during COVID-19, leading to a reduction in total debt for the most strategically significant brand from €6.3m to €1.6m (60 days+ debt was reduced from €3.2m to €86k).• Successfully restructured the French finance team, including developing and internally promoting a new country Finance Manager - this delivered a more customer focused approach, with improved support to the operations teams, brand partners, suppliers and investors. • Led a project to evaluate a faster month-end process across the Finance department, delivering reduced time taken by the local Finance teams to complete the close by up to 5 days.

These activities supported the 10-year extension of the THRE European Outlet Mall Fund (€1.5bn) and a €435m joint venture investment by Simon Property Group.• Improved the quality of reporting by implementing an improved set of management accounts, which including an enhanced level of information and commentary and created a new monthly board pack including both financial and operational data. • Project managed the migration of the monthly management accounts and quarterly investor reporting into a new reporting system, improving data accuracy and reducing completion time. • Developed a database of historical key financial data and operational performance indicators for all Outlet Centres, which was used as part of packs given to banks for refinancing activities, in presentations to potential new investor groups and by C-suite executives at key industry events.• Developed and presented an FP&A corporate induction programme, supporting new senior executives and Outlet Centre managers to better understand key financial subjects.• Winner of the ‘Consistent Achiever’ award in 2012, a company-wide accolade.
