Operation and maintenance support of Transpower’s HVDC & Power Electronic assets including the Inter Island HVDC Link, Static Var Compensators (SVCs), Static Synchronous Compensators (STATCOMs), Synchronous Condensers (Sync Cons) and associated equipment.This role provides a key role in the development of team member capability and providing technical leadership to support the Engineering Manager.I ensure all HVDC & Power Electronics assets are monitored, maintained, repaired and operated in accordance with agreed standards with respect to cost, timeliness, safety and quality. Additionally, this position plays a pivotal role in the delivery of projects that introduce new assets or enhance existing ones.
