Architect, chief negotiator and VP Program for the execution of a Life Of Program contract with BCA for the supply of 737MAX & 777X engine Lip Skins and 787 Section 48 Floor. Acquired an engine Lip Skin manufacturing company (Sheets Mfg Inc.) and transferred manufacturing to a fully vertically integrated engine lip skin manufacturing facility that we constructed in Orangeburg, SC that was producing lip skins within 18 months of contract award. Negotiated over $10B of long term contracts with major commercial and military OEM customers, including Boeing (BCA & BDS), Spirit Aerosystems, Pratt & Whitney, HAC, Gulfstream, Sikorsky and Bell Helicopter.

Responsible for the commercial and financial performance and on time delivery and quality of all GKN Europe products on the Airbus A330, A340, A380 and A400M aircraft. Secured and led design and build programs with Airbus for the A400M composite wing spar and trailing edge work packages. Completed turn-around of a failing Engine Inlet development program ensuring customer quality and cost targets achieved while meeting company financial goals. Negotiated a Joint Venture Agreement with Rolls-Royce focused on the development and manufacture of composite engine fan blades and cases and held a position on the Management Board of the JV.

Led the team through design, development, manufacture and delivery of all Radio Frequency and Electronic (RF&E) Payload equipment to Astrium’s Spacecraft payloads. Program Manager for Inmarsat 4 payload system delivering ahead of schedule and under budget. Secured $100m contract, plus $10m of ESA funding, for the supply of equipment on Skynet 5 spacecraft payload. Achieved 100% on time delivery with brand new Modular Microwave Hybrid Technology (MMHT) for Space Electronics – a feat never previously accomplished in Astrium.
