Unit Role:To provide Electro-mechanical trade and equipment training for Regular and TA REME Officers, Soldiers, Royal Marines and MOD Civilians.Position Role: COMMANDANT'S DRIVER. I worked in the MT Department, looking after the vehicles and making sure that all vehicles are road legal and maintained to a high standard as well as making sure personal were familiarised with all the vehicles and where able to drive them and help with the transport of personal and equipment for Phase 2 personal that had there trade training to do, and help guide new recruits into the roles of the British Army after there basic training. I was also tasked with being the Commandants personal Driver for locations across the UK for anytime and making sure that he was at all his meeting on time and driving with due care and attention at all times so that he may work in the vehicle if he needed to do so. I also had to drive exclusive guests, high ranking VIPs when they came to visit the DSEME schools. Unit Role: To provide 2nd line Log and ES to 19 Lt Bde.Position Role:Ops/MT JNCO.I worked in Northern Ireland and I was deployed on EX PASHTUN DAWN and PASHTUN PANTHER supporting the Mission Specific Training for Op HERRICK 15, 16 and 17, as Real Life Support (RLS) within the UK for approximately 12 months, I was in charge of 400+ vehicles for the arrival and backload of all vehicles and there details while on the ground and to maintaining them, to carry out our busy day to day tasked, twenty four hours a day seven days a week, three months at a time.Responsibilities:• To assist the Ops MT SNCO in the running of the Ops office.• Carry out managerial checks and confirm that drivers hours, maintenance and management procedures are being followed.• Ensure all transport requests are processed and co-coordinated as laid down in JSP 800.• Control all duty hire car bids and ensure he/she scrutinises all bid before a hire car is authorised.• Issue all hire car packs to those personnel entitled to duty hire cars. USO 410-22.• Control and issue all fuel cards and keep a record of receipts for LSI and managerial check purposes.• Task sub units with domestic/green fleet vehicle moves and keep an up to date register of all Bn taskings.• Scrutinise the JAMES system daily for non-compliance.

Unit Role: JHSS - Landing Point Commander.While I was there I obtained a course called Landing Point Commander (LPC), which entitled me to rig all the loads up to be under slung from Chinooks, Seakings, and Merlins. I also went to Morocco for a pre-deployment training for Op Herrick 14. Returned from Morocco, and worked in the MT environment working with all the vehicles to be kept up to standard and paperwork was kept up to date as well as working as a store man during my time there, making sure all the equipment was fit to carry all heavy and light under slung loads safely.Responsibilities:• Responsible for the management of helicopter landing sites.• Responsible for the supervision of Rigger Marshallers.• Responsible for the preparation and making of the Landing site for day and night use.• Responsible for the marshalling of all rotary wing aircraft and maintaining communications with the helicopter unit.• Responsible for ensuring that loads are correctly prepared and rigged for internal or external flight.• Ensuring that hooking procedures are carried out safely.• Responsible for before and after use inspections of helicopter under-slung load equipment (HUSLE).• Liaison with other field units as SME for heli-handling procedures.
