This included sample analysis instrumentation and data management for 145000 lab samples leading to theidentification and retrieval of 1500 potentially affected infants all on an annual basis. I also served as key subject matter expert during the design and implementation of NSO data warehouse constructed to support clinical decision making on over 100 million data points in addition to program performance data all via IBM Cognos technology. I was also the subject matter expert on research program integration to screening infrastructure. This includes pilot projects for new diseases such as severe combined immunodeficiency syndrome (SCID) and molecular diagnostic testing leading to increased disease detection and revenue respectively. This work also coincided with several research projects such as carnitine palmitoyltransferase I analysis in samples from Nunavut and umbilical cord blood spot analysis for samples from Guyana and Bangladesh.
