As an Electrical Engineer (BS,MS EE & PE) and avid electric vehicle owner and enthusiast, I have a technical background in power electronics, drives, and motors (such as induction, PM, and the latest IPM-SynR designs). My personal passion for electric vehicles also extends to my hobbies, where I have successfully converted an older vehicle to electric drive, in my garage. I have experience with rapid prototyping and testing, using anything available, from cardboard and wood to custom machined parts. As a leader, I have successfully supervised a team of 9 where I identified and implement several new mission critical initiatives. Additionally, As a project manager I have had direct responsibility for delivering many large and technically complex projects, with accountability to meeting schedule and budget.Looking back into my past: I had hands-on experience and qualifications in a variety of electrical power areas, including, troubleshooting electric motors and drives, testing protective relays, troubleshooting UPS systems, using multichannel data recorders, performing Arc Flash analysis, and even working on live 480V gear (I even still have my rubber hot work gloves!).
