Middle school general purpose teacher

Teaching Law Enforcment to further peace officers or other students who want to go into the Law Enforcment, EMS, or Fire Service. Students will be trained with State and Federal certifications. These certifications will help in training required for future pathways. Students in the Law Enforcment program will receive certification towards becoming a jailers and EMS dispatching. Students will also receive CPR and basic EMS training.

Army Reserve - Civilian Affairs Specialist – 38Bravo June 2009 to Present Conducted Key Leader Engagements with local and foreign government. Worked with US EMBASSY Kampala Uganda, USAID, First Lady of Uganda, along with several different GO’s and NGO’s on projects ranged from working with the disadvantaged and venerable population. Planned Developed, trained, instructed, evaluated, and conducted training of medical, humanitarian law, and one heath projects to advance local and Uganda Peoples Defense Force (Uganda Military). ONE HEALTH is a project that combines both the Medical and Veterinarian communities to rapidly respond to Pandemic Zoonotic diseases such as EBOLA and MARBURG saving both the human and agricultural population. Support conventional activities with military commanders, civil authorities and civilian populations to lessen the impact of military operations in times of declared war, contingency operations and during times of peace. Writing and submitting OHDCA and HCA form for projects under $50,000 a piece. The Total projects collectively were over $1,000,000.00 total. Instruct in Humanitarian Law, Basic Medical, and other best practices with local military and civilians. Received recognition from both local and national officials of Uganda and from the US Ambassador and Director of USAID. The area of Operation we were the only Official United States force in the region.

Ultimately students in this program become certified with TCFP Fire Fighter / EMT basic. Law Enforcment students become certified jailers and APCO certification dispatchers.

Fire Science Instructor - Highschool Teacher of Firefighting tactics and techniques for the fire fighting profession. Instructions includes ropes and knots, firehose handling, CPR/ AED training, basic first aid, teen CERT, FEMA training, hazmat awareness, building search, victim recovery. My students have made 1st, 2nd and 3rd place 2015/2016 yr / 1st& 3rd 2016/2017 yr in region 6 Skills USA. Both times advancing to state competition.

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company - Security Officer November 2007 to PresentSecure and maintain military production facility against threats both foreign and domestic to include the possible use of deadly force. Responsible for facilities security from theft, fire and willful damage. Ensure safety of employees, contractors and visitors. Protect and preserve military aircraft which include the F-35, F16, parts of the F-22 and other manufacturing aircraft equipment. Enforce company standards while maintaining a positive response to employees whom are in need of assistance both in an emergency setting and non-emergency response. I have been recognized by key leaders at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics for my work on the plant.

Responsible for protecting life, and liberties and property of all persons in the State of Texas. Enforced traffic laws on rural highways, apprehended traffic law violators, investigated rural traffic accidents, recovered stolen vehicles and stolen property, apprehended wanted persons, assisted other officers during emergencies, over saw hazardous material incidents and various other duties. Collected and reported various data for civil and criminal cases for citizens, Local, State and Federal Government. Cetrifications include Intermediate Peace Officer, HGN certified, Intox5000 certified, Level II Investigator, Level II Accident Reconstruction.

United States Air Force - Communication OfficerConducted operations both CONUS and in deployed locations as an alarm room operator. Dispatched Air Craft Rescue Fighting Equipment to respond to fire and other emergencies on and off military instillations. Coordinated with federal, state local and international communities on emergency and non-emergency situations. Specialized training and certified to activate the CRASH PHONE system that was used to notify all base agencies of aircraft flight emergencies. Recognized for efforts conducted while working inside the communication center at Cannon AFB by superiors.

United States Air Force - NCO - Crew Chief Fire Fighter October 1997 to September 2003Responsible for protecting life, property and environment from disasters such as fire, chemicals mishaps, and or natural disasters. Creating safe routes of egress for persons. Flight Line Driver certified United States Air Force. Served as instructor for Fire Prevention and Medical / First Aid training to the community. Assisted as an Emergency Medical Technician. Served as liaison between foreign and domestic federal, state and local community leaders. Certified Hazardous Material Technician responded to multiple Hazardous Material Situations. Certified Hazardous Material Incident Commander served as an Assistant commander for several incidents responsible for decontamination of all personnel and equipment exiting from the hazardous environment. Mapped pre-fire plans for several buildings both on deployment facility’s and on Cannon AFB. Detailed reports and training of personnel for Emergency Vehicle Operations and various duties. Recognized many times over for accomplishments as a fire fighter crew chief from many different commanders and members of the local community.
