I am a non-executive director of GraceKennedy Limited and retired Partner for PwC Jamaica’s Assurance practice.In the course of gathering more than 40 years of experience in accounting, assurance and consulting services for large public and private companies, multinationals and Government entities I:• was the Jamaican firm’s Assurance Services practice leader.• led audit engagements in various industries including manufacturing, distribution, utilities, hospitality, banking, insurance, and agri-business working with multi national teams in the USA, Canada, the UK, Brazil, Belize and several Caribbean countries. I also worked on the ground in some of these jurisdictions.• was PwC Jamaica’s hospitality industry expert with more than 25 years experience in the industry.• acted as engagement leader on the audit of listed entities in Jamaica or on subsidiaries of entities listed on overseas stock exchanges.• gained experience in bankruptcy engagements having acted as receiver and manager in the hotel industry.• served as the leader of PwC’s IT consulting practice and led projects providing overall responsibility and quality assurance on project deliverables.• led the corporate secretarial services practice of the firm.I am a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica and the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.
