Responsibilities include: *Teaching K through 6th Grade Marine Science programs * Maintenance, exhibit design, and management of a visitor center dedicated to Marine Science Education.*Teaching Marine Science “At Your School Programs” to schools in The San Francisco Bay Area.*Running “Fisherman in The Classroom” program bringing local fishermen into Bay Area Schools.*Managing a team of Visitor Center volunteers to assist in operating Visitor Center.*Assisting The Gulf of The Farallones National Marine Sanctuary with outreach events, kayaking and whale watching excursions, lectures and other projects associated with educating the public about the Marine Sanctuary system. * 2007 until present.

Biological Technician conducting Marbelled Murrelet surveys off the coast of Oregon. This was endangered species work completed for USFWS by Crescent Coastal Research.

Spent two weeks assisting with Orca research on Vancouver Island.2002.

Wildlife Observer for NOAA for The Jacob Luckenbach Project. Duties involved dawn to dusk wildlife observations on a salvage barge in The Gulf of The Farallones National Marine Sanctuary.

Biological Technician for Island Conservation and Ecology Group. Conducted surveys of islands off Baja Mexico for Xantus Murrelet. Duties included nocturnal vocalization surveys and nest searching.

Biological Technician on Tern Island, North-West Hawaiian Islands National Monument. Duties included wildlfe surveys, habitat restoration, and facility maintenance.*Winter/Spring/Summer 1996.

Environmental Educator for Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Facilitated educational campaign to bring attention to various marine mammal conservation issues including environmentally destructive fishing techniques and illegal whaling. Duties included fundraising, public relations work with schools, and interest groups, and the position of Boatswain onboard a marine conservation vessel. *1985-1990.
