    Ryce Directory Intelligence was one of 12 other companies that merged to form Getupdated Internet Marketing, with over 300 employees. My task as the Quality & Process Manager was to combine these 12 different companies into a single integrated company, an enormous challenge that not everyone would care to take on. Synergy effects were to be identified and realised at the same time as redundancy was dealt with. The work involved producing and defining sales processes, contract processes, invoicing processes, production processes, etc. On a more concrete level I also produced sales presentations, product materials, price lists, standard quotation forms, order confirmations, sales reports, product statistics, etc. I also functioned as an indirect Product Manager for the ‘Media Planning’ product owing to my previous role at Ryce Directory Intelligence, and also continued to be responsible for some of their major customers to avoid losing touch with ‘reality’. Together with my staff of six employees I became a common denominator between sales, production, finance and the Executive Management Team, of which I was also a member.
