Proposal Manager / Sr. Estimator. Emerson Blend and Transfer is a worldwide leader in the blending and transferring of lubricating oil, grease and fuels. I am responsible for the completion of all proposals for 4 world areas (Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Asia Pacific). I facilitate the weekly Proposal Team meetings, Proposal Kick-Off meetings, Operations Review and prepared all cost and pricing information for the Delegation of Authority review. I request engineering and project management resources for each project and I coordinate the work that both engineering and project management need to do to complete the technical and execution portions of the proposal. I am responsible and accountable for making sure that each proposal properly states what we have included in our scope of work and that our pricing properly matches the stated scope of work. Emerson Automated Solutions purchased FMC Technologies in 2016. I was promoted to Proposal Manager soon after the acquisition.
