Achievements included:-· Developed a practical knowledge of the workings of virtual and physical servers (Microsoft, Linux), storage systems and networks which is strong enough to hold discussions with technical architects and customers alike.· Liased with project Stakeholders to understand their requirements and documented these into Requirement Statements and Statements of Work.· Created the required project plans in Microsoft Project format (through discussion and agreement with customers and contributors) following the PMP methodology. (US Prince 2 equivalent).· Liased with Service Delivery management ensuring the project deliverables could be utilised in day to day operations. · Managed project teams which included other Project Managers as well as technical resources and third party contributors.· Understood the company/client contractual relationship ensuring that the project requirements and Statements of Work were within that agreement.· Managed the expectations of all concerned as and when the project requirements fell outside the contractual agreement.· Managed a portfolio of multiple projects of various sizes at any one time.· Organised technical specialists to produce technical solutions for projects within the Service Delivery environment of a variety of companies including Oil and Gas, clothing manufacture, and insurance.
