These contracts were part of an overall project valued at US$ 400,000,000 to construct a new methanol process plant, for AMPCO. A high proportion of the work was delivered as subcontractor to Raytheon International, main contractor for the plant.During this period, I managed a number of design and construct packages, where INCAT employed consulting engineers for the detailed design work. Theses projects included construction of roads, bridges and marine structures. There were major raw material supply and logistic challenges to overcome, which necessitated the construction of temporary jetty, establishing a hard rock quarrying operation and import of sand for concrete production.Also responsible for consultation with the Presidential office and all Government Ministries, on plans to develop an offshore logistic support base for the Guinean offshore oil industry.After securing a 20 year concession for the new Port, was involved in planning the first phase of development of the new 20 Hectare facility.
