Hi there, thanks for stopping by. I've been in the solar industry since 2017 and have enjoyed the ride on the infamous solar coaster. I got my start in solar interestingly enough by applying for a sales job at a local company. They took one look at my resume and my lack of any sales experience and immediately sent me off to design and engineering. I started at the ground floor and worked my way up, having experienced the industry from production, management, leadership, as well as the owners perspectives. Asking for a raise, giving someone a raise, and giving someone money out of your own business account feels very different, and I recognize the different motivations and drives that those decisons involve depending on your vantage point. While my first love will always be all things technical, I've become facinated with how businesses operate and how the different departments must all be on the same page with the exectutive team to make things run smoothly. My desire is to be someone that can bridge the gap between different points of view, to understand peoples motivations, and to help everyone come together for the greater good of the organization. I aspire to be entrusted in a leadership role, and understand the value that strong leadership can bring to a team. It's a lifelong process that will never end, and I still and will always have a lot to learn.
