Responsible for oversight of 60% of the financial transactions across the City & County of San Francisco, representing 33 of the 55 departments. Guided bond oversight analysis and reporting to the City’s Bond Oversight Committee. Spearheaded City & County-wide financial statements ($10 billion in annual expenditures). Led various technology projects related to the Citywide PeopleSoft Financials implementation such as spearheading new debt policies, new Citywide financial statement reporting, and quality control of Citywide General Ledger data conversion. Responsible for approving mid-year budget requests (surplus transfers) for these departments including determining if budgetary change requests required a supplemental board approval. Coordinated budget requests with the Mayor's Budget Office and the Controller's Budget Analysis Division. Led projects including establishing a framework of budgetary controls for SFMTA. Designed a model to ensure SFMTA adhered to budgetary controls, while providing budget flexibility as stated in SFMTA’s charter.
