As the trusted advisor to the business I implemented actionable insights, set pricing strategies, tracked performance through portfolio monitoring, technical modelling, budgeting and running various projects.I controlled exposure growth with balanced pricing, in response to concerns for Far North Queensland exposure in the Business Packages book. I established a cross functional working group to investigate, formed hypotheses and provided a response. I implemented price changes across multiple regions and setup monitoring to check the exposure growth overtime.I improved the annual auditing review score for the team, governance, documentation and structure for each price change, and reduced key person risks. I created and implemented a price change framework, creating price modelling and price change documentation, enforced peer review for all price changes, and enforced price change awareness and communication to stakeholders to obtain timely sign-off with price change information.

I owned the end-to-end management of pricing and P&L of the payments portfolio within the Business Bank of Westpac Group. I built the right foundation for the payments business using industry best practices on fundamental portfolio management. I utilized data, reports and analytics to generate and execute business strategies to meet P&L targets and business requirements. I managed the end-to-end acquisition and retention strategies plus strategic pricing initiatives. Identifying market awareness was key, I partnered with marketing and used the remaining marketing spend to execute the first ever end to end St George Group above the line and below the line campaign for the payments portfolio. I delivered brochures and digital displays to branches and influenced and setup the first outbound team to run campaigns and retention initiatives using existing resources and budget. We gained 500+ new customers with very impressive transactional balance growth.
