My career started at GE, where I learned what it is like to be an engineer and how to do it to keep the factory running. But my professional training in business really started when I am in IBM, where both technical, business and legal lessons were learnt - good training ground with plenty of good friends there.Learnt to run an independent office in Unisys for a short while before they close out Singapore, but good lessons learnt.Met and learnt honesty and integrity in Maxtor and found some great friendsThought that I will do a great Materials job in a smaller company, but had to do sales and marketing on top of managing materials in an EMS company, the defunct SMT Philips and found out how statistics can really hide the books if you are not clean. Did the hard work of cleaning up all the mess and present the broken down company to their new owners....boy were they shocked!Became a full fledged sales man, manager and finally sales director with only one boss and in charge of total regional (I mean worldwide) salesBut that left me w/o time for my family, so I left and join PEM - a great company and had great bosses. Had some good colleagues, friends that will be remembered well. But then again, it was time that I retired because I wanted to spend more time with those who mattered to me - after all that's why we worked so hard...hahahaSpecialties: Jack of all trade = try me if you don't believe me
