I am an evangelical missionary working with OMF International. After about 20 years' experience in Japan my wife and I spent eight years (2005-13) based in London doing evangelistic and pastoral work among the 40,000 Japanese who live in the city and surrounding area. In March 2014 we returned to Japan, where we pastored Hatazawa Church in the city of Kisarazu in Chiba prefecture, across the bay from Tokyo. From 2017 to 2021 we joined the church planting team in Hanamaki, a new start in Japan's north-east region. Since October 2021 we have been on Home Assignment, and from April 2022 we will transition to retirement. We are now making our home in Worthing.
