I work primarily in the medium of stained glass. My designs arise out of research and drawing and are translated through multiple etching and painting processes into luminous artworks for exhibition or commission. Recent projects include a wall mounted freeze for Tallaght Hospital, a triptych of panels for The Cellar Bar at The Merrion Hotel, Dublin, and a series of windows for St Sylvester's Prayer Chapel in Malahide. I teach workshops on occasion, and lately tutored a group of recovering addicts in the design and fabrication of two large windows for their premises in Dublin.I have also undertaken a number of collaborative commissions for primary school communities in Wexford, Dublin, Kerry and Kildare. These involved the children in themed workshop activities and led to their images being represented in stained glass windows for their schools.
