Sr. Technical Architect, Cyber Security And Digital Solutions
CurrentTeam Lead for Desktop Management Group within User Support Services. This encompasses Desktop Imaging, Software Deployment, Policy Settings, as well as managing the SCCM and Intune Infrastructure. I provide leadership in technical issues to other User Support Services staff. I spent the First year on the Office Suite Migration Project which involved converting from a Novell based computing environment to a Microsoft Active Directory environment. This involved touching every desktop in government. On this project I acted as team lead for several resources, and was responsible for developing many automated tools that were used to complete the project. I was able to develop new support procedures and implement improved desktop security.I served as project manager on the team that performed the revocation of administrative rights across government devices. This required extensive stakeholder communication and consultation across government as it was a potentially very impactful change. We were able to roll this out meeting client needs, while greatly improving security. (local admins were reduced from 13000 (everyone) to 300, with dedicated accounts) I have been involved in continuous Service improvement, and have assisted in investigations, Cyber security incident response, and contributed and responded to Audit recommendations and threat and risk assessments. I have participated in the hiring process. In 2015 I completed the PSC’s Management Leadership Development Program and completed their Occupational Health and Safety Certificate in 2017. I serve as Deputy Chief fire warden, and on the OHSA Committee for my building.
