Participated in closing two deals; 1. a portfolio of three established OTC brands for the US market acquired from Bayer Healthcare and 2. acquisition of development project in oncology support from Danish Biotech company. The project had gone through several smaller studies and was more or less ready to enter a confirmatory phase II study. The project/product is a lozenge including bupivacaine as a remedy for pain associated with oral mucositis, a side effect of several oncology treatments, especially radiation of head and neck cancers. This project was recently spun out as a separate company and listed in Stockholm as Oncozenge. Also participated in partnering discussions regarding outlicensing of main asset, MOB015.
