From its humble beginnings in a neighborhood church basement over 100 years ago, the Guadalupe Centers and Charter Schools have grown into a Midwest leading charter school system and national renown Latino community center. The charter schools alone are serving over 1600 students (470 high school students) in Kansas City, and are working with community colleges to help their students thrive. Bridging and/or strengthening the relationship, connection and advancement gap between local growing employers and motivated graduating Guadalupe Center Charter HS students is a primary aim of our team. Engaging KC corporate investors, and fostering effective student career plans with metrics for performance and longevity is an ongoing advantage and critical need for both employer and student allowing both to see a meaningful ROI. I'm passionate and enthusiastic about the opportunity presented to our team and myself to positively and permanently impact the students, their families, corporate sponsors and their community.
