I write goals in terms of short term, mid term and long term. I have been in the hospitality industry since I started in Jamaica as an Entertainment Co-ordinator at Ambiance/Jamaica in March 1991. I worked in the same field at Trelawny Beach. Shortly thereafter, in June of 1994 I migrated to the US and resided in Cincinnati where I took a job as a GSR at Embassy Suites Hotel in Blue Ash, OH. I was serving as the Assistant General in 2001 when I took a job as General Manager of Hilton Garden Cincinnati Northeast. I had a break and opened and operated a restaurant downtown Cincinnati. When I was not successful, I went back as an Operations Manager at Embassy Suites Hotel. In 2006 I accepted a job with North Central Group to manage a Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis, MN. After a year and a half I was transferred to manage a Hilton Garden Downtown Omaha NE. My short term is to be the absolute best hotel general manager I can be. My mid term goal is to be a regional general manager of a hospitality group.My long term goal is to own a hotel and continue to invest.Specialties: I am extremely good at creating and motivating a team to achieve success. I am very attentive to details. I have been very successful in achieving high guest service scores. I have a very good sense of analyzing a market to budget well revenue goals. Cost controlling is a strength. I am exceptionally good at connecting with people.
