I am a seasoned technologist, with a range of strengths. These include vision, people focus and mature technical know-how. For the past decade and a half my activity has been in the data and analytics space. I have held leadership, technical, engineering and architecture positions. BI and analytics are second nature as are data engineering, models. cubes, visualisations etc. I am a people-focused leader, not only in respect of the individuals in my team, but the wider organisation and beyond. I have two degrees in psychology.I have technical experience of a variety of stacks including MS SQL (Azure/on-prem), Power BI, Fabric, Snowflake, SAS, Hadoop (Hive). I also code proficiently in various languages including SQL, Python, Java, C#. I have a vision of what a great analytic environment can be, and also how to get there. My background in technology is extensive so I can communicate effectively in relation to infrastructure and architecture. Finally, I am analytical by nature have developed various multivariate and predictive analyses and models using SAS, R and SPSS.In the more distant past I held leadership positions in the IT service sector at companies including Bain & Co and Reuters. I have written, presented and advised on the topic of transformational approaches to innovation and corporate technology at conferences and events hosted by itSMF, SDI, the Home Office and at various locations across Sweden.
