Responsible for developing multiple high-profile dashboards (e.g., the Operational/Executive Dashboard, the Quality Scorecard/Dashboard for the Board, the Provincial Mental Health and Addictions Dashboard), innovative organizational apps (e.g., the Environmental Scan), interactive reports, large-scale program evaluations, and automated data collection tools, from dataflows to surveys. Additionally, I build Power BI organizational capacity by developing workshops and training sessions.My work spans multiple data domains typically found under Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Specialist, Program Evaluation Consultant, and Data Scientist roles. It includes, but is not limited to, the following:- Performing data analyses for various business products, health initiatives, and provincial health programs, using big data, industry best practices, and advanced statistics.- Defining business requirements for various stakeholders and end-users of dashboards, apps, and reports.- Mapping and linking available data sources to meet business requirements.- Developing data models, data flows, and data collection tools (including large-scale surveys).- Automating data flows and all processes around data extraction and transformation (ETL) for Power BI/Tableau dashboards, using Power Query, Excel VBA, Python, and SQL.- Developing new processes and improving existing ones to ensure dashboards and apps are successfully owned and managed by different departments.- Building Power BI organizational capacity through developing and conducting workshops and training sessions.
