    Work on the Big Data team to load data from various sources into the Hadoop Data Lakes. Help design and develop internal frameworks for ETL/ELT processes using Map Reduce, Pig, and Hive along with Shell Scripting, Python, and Java.Design and development of a web based application to track the meta data changes of over 1500 data warehouse projects annually. The application uses ColdFusion 9 and several JavaScript frameworks including Ext:JS, JQuery, and Knockout and uses an AJAX front end. Printed reports were designed in Jasper iReports and distributed using Jasper Reports Server, and integrated into the ColdFusion code using a REST API. Integration with Metadata Workbench, Global IDs, and CA Repository were achieved through the use of RESTfull APIs, SOAP APIs, XML, and scripted data file exports and communication through public SSH Keys and UAM MechID between Linux Servers. The project was one of the first to use the AT&T Cloud Linux servers. Responsible for all configuration of the Linux servers, including all UAM roles and group setup, installation of J2EE server, configuration and tuning of the JVM and integration with UPSTART and ACCESS approvals. All Linux environment changes were scripted and replicated to all six servers using shell and python scripting. Work with the Oracle System DBA and act as the Oracle Application DBA to setup and configure DEV, QA, and PROD environments on the cloud Linux servers. Configure the EMAS shared ColdFusion hosting environment including gaining approval for exceptions to deal with bugs in ColdFusion 9. Implemented several work arounds to these bugs using Java modules and the use of JAVA Objects. Closed more than 150 tickets during the System Test and User Acceptance Testing phases of the project. Responsible for planning and executing the go live scripts to migrate the existing Oracle database tables into the new Cloud Oracle servers.
