That's where 186hr comes in. For £350 per month we take the hassle away from businesses. Whatever the HR issue, we will guide you through the whole process, giving advice on what to say, then drafting letters, policies etc that are adapted to the specific needs of the issue / your company.This is our USP, hands on guidance that ensures people issues are managed to a very high standard with minimal hassle for you, in a way that is tailored to your company (some providers give overly cautious advice over the phone then direct you to a standard letter to adapt yourself. We find that whereas that sounds good in the sales pitch the reality is very different and often leads to issues festering for months while businesses put off dealing with them).A couple of recent examples:Example 1 - a customer needed to part company with an employee with a poor absence record. I gave them a script to follow for the meetings then wrote letters for them. The employee left, the employer had followed a reasonable process that would win a tribunal if needed.Example 2 - the company had been putting off 2 redundancies for months. I managed the process for them, held the meetings and wrote all letters etc. for them to sign. It took 2 weeks and was compliant with the ACAS Code of Practice.Our package of support, specifically designed for smaller businesses, includes: an average of 5 hours of support from me each month (you can borrow future hours or carry forward unused hours); all letters written; all policies and other documentation drafted specifically for your company, whenever you need them; along with our 'Practical Guides' that explain how to handle issues such as redundancies, disciplinary action and grievances and can be used as an aide memoir.I will also attend site whenever needed.Other packages are available e.g. a day rate for specific projects or monthly package for larger companies that have a HR Adviser but need support for more complex queries.I am a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and have over 20 years’ experience in high level HR roles for companies of all sizes and in numerous sectors.
