As retail district manager, I have over 30 years of experience in every aspect of retailmanagement, including strategic planning, operational improvement, customer satisfaction, teambuilding, talent development, and succession planning. Managing a variety of territories across11-13 locations, I was responsible for an annual volume of $110M in sales. I was known as the“Operational Champion” for the region the last few years – sharing best practices to improveoperational efficiency in under performing stores. Some of my career highlights as follows: 1st in the region for customer satisfaction with an average survey score of 75% –amongthe best in the entire company. Served as “Customer Service Champion” for the regionthe last several years. Surpassed sales expectations every year while consistently outperforming other districtsin the region – currently trending +5% in comp sales growth over LY. Managed inventory shrink below company average each year – reduced shrink to just1.29% in 2016, 20% below the company average. Ranked 1st in the region for year-over- year reduction in inventory damages. Achievedsignificant improvement in team morale. Reduced turnover to 33.9% – lowest in the region. Awarded “Team of the Year” in 2013 for outstanding team building, morale,development, and bench strength.In my prior role as territory retail manager, I was responsible for driving sales andaccountability. This means I was constantly assessing talent to see who we can teach, train, andgrow into leadership positions. Development is my passion.
