I help organizations renew their IT strategy and services when they are dealing with a major organizational change such as a merger or takeover. Drastic situations provide a great opportunity to reset your IT division towards today's business needs. My most recent area of expertise and interest is the effective use of the Microsoft 365 platform.

Responsible for defining and implementing the TBI Cloud strategy based on Microsoft 365. This included a new license / cost structure, Skype to Teams migration, Adoption, Software update management, Azure Cloud Governance, the Power platform, Security, Identity management etc.

Granted the responsibility to further build and professionalize the Shared Service Center ICT for the TBI organization. The assignment included the harmonization of two IT departments serving 18 companies and aprox. 6000 employees.

Responsible for the daily ICT operations and development of main offices in The Netherlands, Hungary and United Kingdom and also for business representatives in approximately 20 different countries. Within a span of three years, completely prepared and outsourced the IT infrastructure to a datacenter in the Netherlands and implemented IP-based telephony in all offices.Also responsible for guiding the development of a new business software suite including a client portal to replace the current software used in both the Budapest and Leiden offices. The software developer was a French company located in Paris.

Responsible for defining and executing a data migration strategy to implement insurance data into a newly developed software suite.

Cloudworkspot is market initiative from Ont-wikkelen B.V. and ICTXXL providing digital desktop solutions for small companies.

Responsible for negotiating and contracting ICT projects and ICT services. Also supported the project managers by managing and monitoring supplier guarantees.

Responsible for regaining operational control after the reorganization of the IT Supply department. The control and risk management processes of this division were adjusted to a situation with more and more IT control functions and fewer executive tasks. Within this assignment, worked directly for the CIO of Allianz Netherlands Group. Furthermore, coordinated and advised in the contacts with regulators and auditors.

Responsible for the setup and implementation of a Vendor Management department within Allianz. Main contributions and results for Allianz:- Established an operational department for the discipline ‘Vendor management’ andpositioned it within the organization.- Managed supplier selection and contract using project management methodologies.- Improved the cooperation with external parties and with the German parent company.- Guided several RFPs and contract negotiations.

Responsible for all internal matters within this small life insurance company, including the areas of Operations, HRM, outsourcing and ICT.Key contributions and outcomes for Universal Leven:• Redesigned and implemented the internal organization • Totally refurbished the total ICT services including the conversion of policy administration.• Responsible for compliance and cooperation with external regulators.• Team leader to three teams, including intensive team building activities.
