I have authored the Vocational Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship for TAFE Queensland and developed the teacher and learner resources for the 8 units of competency.I facilitate the 'Start your own business' program that issues a Certificate IV in Small Business Management to successful candidates.I fulfil the "Entrepreneur in Residence" role by helping teachers and educational managers find innovative solutions in the fast changing education and learning space brought about by the impact of the Internet and its platforms. Acknowledged as a 'Change Champion' in 2013 at the Brisbane Metropolitan TAFE annual staff awards.

In 2008, two brothers with vastly different employment histories were serendipitously brought together when the Queensland Government engaged Peter Baskerville to draw on his 25 years of entrepreneurial endeavour to author the Vocational Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship qualification that was recognized under the Australian Qualifications Framework. Philip, who had equally extensive experience in education, learning and skills training in high schools and vocational institutes, was to be his mentor and guide through this highly complicated and technically specific Voc. Ed. world.Together they research broadly and discussed deeply the current state of education and the ways that recent developments in technology could create opportunities for world class self-motivated learning to be affordable for all. They envisioned a education and learning system that could deliver context specific, world-class, comprehensive and eminently affordable ‘work skill knowledge’ to every person on the planet – anytime, anywhere, on topics relevant to their need and at a pace suitable to their learning preference, ability and start-point. Understanding the entrepreneurial opportunities that occur when there is a paradigm shift in markets, the two brothers set out to find ways that they could play their part in bringing it about and finding others with like minds to join them.
