Managed the AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) interfacing with the "Migration Factory" provided by TechM. Several teams of cloud engineers/architects built the cloud environments and performed the data migration and cutover from on-prem to AWS. Migrated 104 rehosting/replatforming workloads. I was the interface between the application teams and the migration factory and scheduling and managing the daily standup meetings for the application workload migration activities. Unlocking blockers and ensuring the smooth running of the migration acceleration program. In conjunction with running this program there were several other migration activities that I had some involvement with. For example liaising with the migration factory that also built an AWS EKS pattern into which approximately 70 microservices were being migrated from an OpenShift environment on premise into this AWS EKS pattern. Additional migrations were also occurring in parallel with the MAP program including 514 microservices from an OpenShift environment into AWS EKS. Approximately 20 cloud native or refactoring migrations were also in progress.Additional responsibilities included:- Tracking cloud budgets and reporting on monthly progress- Forecasting cloud spend- Monthly Steerco presentations- Managing a Geo-Resilience cutover from Datacentres in Gauteng to Datacentres in Cape Town.- Managing a Database Schema Conversion Project (SCT).- High level management of activities for a migration from AWS Landing Zone to Control Tower.- Tracking remedial activities for audit findings
