Those who work with me know I am openly truthful and trustworthy.Ultimately, my goal is to utilize emerging technologies to make the world a better and safer place.Career HighlightsFounded and spent 14 years running ELB Internet Services Inc., a successful full-service technology consulting company which specialized in government and business systems and software across a wide range of industries.In 2021, earned my Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from Brown University.Spearheaded the swift recovery from a ransomware attack for an organization without an incident response plan. Designed the IT portion of a town’s disaster recovery plan and then implemented that plan after a hurricane flooded the data center, enabling the town, including emergency services, to continue operating.I had the opportunity to work with public libraries in disadvantaged neighborhoods, helping them offer Internet access to their patrons when there was virtually no budget to do so. I used old hardware, open-source software and facilitating free Internet access. These projects allowed people who otherwise would have had no access to the Internet to apply for jobs, do schoolwork, and participate in the digital age.
