Peter is on a mission to improve health outcomes and equity in our underserved communities. He has two master’s degrees (MPH, MA Policy) from The University of Texas at Austin, and 15+ years of experience in Medicaid strategy and innovation working with stakeholders across the ecosystem. As Chief Strategy Officer at Goodside Health, Peter works to expand K-12 school-based access to integrated physical and mental health services nationwide. Previously, as Vice President of Solutioning at UnitedHealthcare and Director of Medicaid Solutions at Centene Corporation, Peter identified, built, and scaled Managed Care interventions and strategies with MCOs and was accountable for RFP-readiness on multi-billion dollar Medicaid procurements. Peter also consulted with State Medicaid agencies as a Senior Strategy and Operations Consultant at Deloitte. He started his career working in community with non-profits and safety-net providers to advance patient empowerment and health literacy.
