Peter is a business economist and thought leader with a passion for impact and SDGs. Peter has worked in various management positions in the financial/banking industry and the non-profit sector and has worked in the UK, Europe, Africa, USA and Latin America. In his current role Peter leads the development of Innovative Finance within SNV Netherlands Development Organisation, and connects impact investors and DFIs with viable business opportunities in Africa and S.E. Asia, focused on the 'missing middle' in frontier and frontier plus markets. In his previous role, working in a single family office, Peter was responsible for thought leadership on philanthropy, overseeing and supporting the group's grant-making foundations ($50m+ p.a.) and building capacity of organisations that need technical assistance, particularly in sustainability, strategic advice and business planning.Peter’s hobbies are in extension of this and focus around supporting and advising organisations in their growth and development, focusing on both business and ESG aspects. Apart from that, he loves cycling and swimming.
